Story: Road-tax evaders targeted with new tech

Instead of wasting yet more tax payers money on another system that increases the public's sense of being constantly under observation by government agencies is it not time to take the more pragmatic approach of applying Road Tax to fuel. That way there is no possibility of evasion and foreign vehicles get to contribute to the cost of running our roads. The Road Tax disc is obsolete and the sooner it is consigned to the dustbin of history the better.
