Greed hurts everybody
What a waste of time and money! The greed factor out there disgusts me. Nobody is hurt by the drive labeling the true hard drive capacity. Overhead will clearly reduce the capacity of a drive, as anybody who has used computers for more than a few years should know this.
Why don't these people sue paper manufacturers while they're at it. After all, you can't write all the way out to the edge. A few percent of the page is lost due to margins. So when you buy an 8.5x11 sheet of paper, you're really only able to use 8x10....
