Incredible! How about a lawsuit over chip speed - in Ghz, FLOPS or other units! 'cos I that's the problem here.

As numbers go, 20 thousand million is only 18.626GB in computer terms since you have to divide by 1024 each time not 1000.

What everyone really needs to know is the space the computer will say the drive has when it is first used as an extra empty drive.

ie. A fully formatted FAT 32 etc. 250GB drive has XXXGB of useable space on a good day with the wind behind it and 0 defects or bad sectors!
