Regarding: "While it’s true that a 64-bit version of Windows is not available just yet" - but what about Linux - has this not been available in 64-bit version for some time? If so, would be there be noticable benefits in upgrading from Linux 32 bit version to 64 bit version, and which distributions support 64 bit.
