Story: SuSE's 64-bit Linux seeks unhappy Windows users
Suse is a hell of a clever distributor. They are the other server linux vendor and pretty much the only successfull (on a significant scale) desktop linux vendor.
Their strategy of not being so forthcoming with free ISO, has made them not so popular with hobbyist like me but they've been coherent and have been very determined to sell their stuff, rather than buying exposure by giving it away.
I hope some other of the best linux distro will follow its footsteps because although they are good, alternatives and competition is what has made linux such a fast progressing product, as well as collaboration and source sharing.
