Are the Problems Identified Todate with IE only the tip of the iceberg?

OS Security today announced how an existing IE vulnerability can allow the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption on Internet Explorer to be altered through any of the current attack techniques known as worms, viruses, buffer overflow or scripts. This causes the SSL function to forward confidential data to undesirable destinations when individuals perform on-line banking or purchasing at home using IE.

Users can be infected by just visiting a web site and never know that their information is being stolen.
