Full marks to M&S!

I think stores should put up posters explaining if and how they use RFID.

This technology will affect how I shop in future, if the chip is distroyed or ripped off at time of purchase, then I willpurchase the item. If the chip is embedded and I will leave the shop with the tag, then I will not purchase.

My biggest fear at the moment is not nowing what I am carrying. I have friends who have been mugged for their phones and their ipods when they are out on display, it will only be a matter of time before someone develops a handheld scanner that can read any items on your person. The mugger won't even need to "see" the item.

Another one is: you could walk into a store, it reads any items you are carrying and trys to sell you some more! We've all seen the scene from "Minority Report", do you want everyone to know you brought CKs last week?
