One gets the feeling, after reading this article, that societies in North America are going backwards instead of forwards.

The idea that my face, fingerprints, and DNA might end up in a surveillance system, that is unreliable, is frightening. As it is right now, if a person on some police record fits some crime profile, he or she stands a good chance of being charged as the perpetrator of the crime.

Rather than stricter policing and control policies, why not try to find out what the ailments of the global community are, and work at mending them?

Using force, whether through paperwork and redtape or violence, is coercive, and is always used for negative rather than positive solution purposes.

Electronic ID is not an exact science, and no one looks like the printouts because they are distortrd. This sounds more like another way for governnments and corporations to herd and control us, and make us dance to their tunes.
