The only reason Microsoft has so many customers is because people bought Windows 9x which were good. And almsot everyone I know won't change to another OS because they either don't know any other OS or they don't want to because of compatibility issues. Microsoft should count themselves very lucky. To be perfectly honest, the only reason I haven't switched to Unix or Linux is because of that, compatibility. Microsoft have a tendancy to mess things up on a grand scale, and I think that Longhorn is going to be another mark on their not-so-clean history.
