What can I say, Micro$oft still wants what Apple has- true innovation.
I am both a mac and pc guy. I have built my career on being a cross-platform know-it-all
All I can say is that Apple has it down when it comes to innovation with backwards compatability in mind. I run both a P41.8ghz(w/XP Pro) and a 400Mhz G4 (w/OSX.3) and they work just fine. I exoect I will still be using my G4 with Tiger and will not be using my 1.8 with longhorn
