Story: Phoenix launches first 'trusted' BIOS
Phoenix cannot write A simple fully-ACPI compliant Bios. What makes them think they can write somting as complex as security incription into it. Plus the antiuser, Pro-MegaShaft, DRM will only make users think twice about buying a phenix power device.
PS IBM had attempted to impliment it on the Thinkpad T40 in nov and dec. But less than a one and a half months later abbondond it. Because to all the ploblems the "FW" HDA space caused.
