Where does this guy get his numbers from?
His suggestion that a compression ratio of 6x to 8x for JPEG is ludicrous. A ratio nearer his ABO figure of 32x is more typical with output quality set to normal. Sounds like another proprietary software company trying to make their product seem better than it is.
