Don't believe this hype - I've looked at their patent ("REPETITION CODED COMPRESSION FOR HIGHLY CORRELATED IMAGE DATA", assuming this is the relevant one), and let me tell you it's nothing revolutionary. In fact, I did something similar a long time ago and I can do a variation of it that outperforms this exact method. Moreover, for natural images, it does not outperform JPEG or MPEG. My recommendation is to go with JPEG-2000 for still images and H.264/MPEG-4 AVC for image sequences.

In fact, I do question how they can get a patent for this. But as it really isn't "better" than everything else, I don't care.
