im not a buisness owner nor a educational establishment im just an online gamer and irc chat user. I think that leased lines are far too expensive for the public to evan concider and dsl lines tend to have a low upload speed, the area most needed for either of those applications.

SDSL sounds like a good idea, i havnt yet seen any prices for these lines but im expecting them to be more affordable to me than leased lines would ever be.

I am upgrading my dsl line as soon as my provider will let me cancel the current one and i really have no way to upgrade my line for a higher upload speed.

With the decent of customers using leased lines, i expect the prices are going to shoot up. This is all good because it means that somewhere else, customer rates will be raising and prices dropping.

If anyone can let me know where i can find a decent line from with a speed around 2048 with an upload at or faster than 512k at a reasonable price, please please let me know.

Thanks for reading
Rik
