Have I got this right:

RIAA president Cary Sherman said in a press conference to announce the lawsuits. "Our message should be as clear as ever: We can and will continue to bring lawsuits against those who distribute music to millions of strangers."

So, what this guy is saying is that if I release onto the web free for anyone to download, music written and recorded and copyrighted by myself, that he will take legal action against myself and the recipients of my music?

I don't think so Mr Sherman!
