Smithy, one smiles when you praise Gates for the movement of doctors and medicines in to Africa. What about the intellect that is being poached out of Africa - enourmous "brain drain" comparatively speaking... People like you. What effect does that have on the development of Africa? And how does the absorbtion of such intellect aid with the accelerated growth of the US? How does this help Africa compete, now and in the future, in the world market? -considering that competition is the basis of survival. And the children you speak of, how does the praise of such an unbalanced system progress their futures? These things are not that simple and aid has negative and positive effects..... And like I said earlier, they have to be treated with caution as the true value of things must always first be assessed.
You also seem to think that I am against Microsoft the OS. Nope.... As I said before, it is an adequate class C system, in my opinion. It is, however, the business practices of Microsoft the org that I am impartial to.
