Story: Nikon Coolpix 8700: a first look

I paid nearly £800 for my camera, it was great, took fantastic photos with it, but after 18 months, it started doing things I didn't want it to do, resetting it's self, making squeaky noises, then today 25th dec....it died. When you are buying this priduct, you expect it to last a lot longer than 18months! It's the last NIKON I will buy.
