This bill will probably get through because its only the record companies which do the lobbying.

The current laws easily protect the companies involved, how exactly are more laws going to stop already illegal file swapping?

All this bill attempts to do is to limit the choice of the consumer and to allow the big companies to further squeeze the small independant companies out of the marketplace!

The only way this bill can be stopped is if people start sending notices of dissapproval of this law to their MEP's. Whether or not you like the EC it needs to be done or the disgusting lawsuits we hear about in America will start happening here, only they will be even worse!
