I have used to both the Pocket PC and Palm systems, albeit only Pocket PC 2002 in an Ipaq. I am currently using the Tungsten T and I find the Palm OS less cumbersome to use than the Pocket PC. It also seems faster to open files with Palm as compared with Pocket PC. AS with compatibility with Office products, I believe that the newest version of Documents to go can read native Office files without conversion and it comes free with Palm's Tungsten T3. Way thumbs up for Palm, I say.
