Story: PDA prizefight: Palm OS 5 v Windows Mobile 2003
I notice reading previous comments that opinions are more emotional reactions than rational objectivly proven facts (I'm a psychologist, not a PDA specialist).
I've own Pocket PCs and Palm PDAs (about 20 different models).
Both are quite interesting, both are quite not perfect, both are quite exciting.
Third party softwares will always be necessary because individual needs vary enormously from one to other.
Be honest, what Joe is looking for is not what Jane dreams of...and it's ok. Both platforms have something special to offer.
There are plenty Pocket PCs owners and as many Palm owners happy too.
I am coming back to Palm now because with Palm Handheld T, they get closer to Pocket PC multimedia easiness. Palm is more an Organiser...Pocket PC is more a mini PC.
It's OK like that...depending on what you're looking for.
