Story: MandrakeSoft emerges from bankruptcy

Its good to see that Mandrakesoft (or should I say the administrator) has handled bankruptcy so well.

Back in 2000 when they were kind of like a typical dot-com style company spending millions on development and expansion while giving almost everything away for free I thought they were certain to go under.

Now however they have emerged as a company who look set to grow on a slower but far more steady basis whilst still remaining very true to Open Source principles unlike many of the other Linux distributors who have deviated slightly in order to make money.
