Story: Norton AntiVirus: The readers strike back
I am experiencing a serious about:blank problem whenever I try to access my Yahoo Mail box I am immediatey diverted to a' Search the Web' directory page with about: blank in the address box. I operate a Windows 98 system and have Norton security 2005 protection plus spyassassin (for spyware protection). I have tried resetting my home page in the Internet Options but each time it defaults to about:blank.
I am aware of all the packages that claim to be able to remove this virus, but are there any that I could trust to do the job or would it be wiser for me to start from scratch and reformat my whole PC. Any advice would be gratefully welcomed.
