Hello.

We are just about to return a Konica 3100 printer, plus SC-215 scanner, that we thought we could use to produce our company brochure - we are in holiday accommodation lets and it's frustrating to have a brochure printed and then houses no longer let out and other new ones come on board - so the ability to print ourselves would be wonderful.

However, the Konica system was a real nightmare! It was shipped with the wrong drivers - we are on XP and they sent 2000 - it crushed the ends of every DL envelope we tried to print through the multipurpose tray, the first scanner wouldn't install and the dealer had no idea about the products they sold us!

Added to that, the Konica 'back-up' left a great deal to be desired - 'our DL envelopes are being crushed' 'then try another brand'! (does this sound like M*******t to you? Also, 59 minutes on a call to try to set up the printer for networking and in the end we called a chum who helped us out!

After all this, we still need a duplexing colour laser that can be interfaced with a colour scanner for the brochure production.

Can you point us in a direction of a reliable printer that ought to be backed up by people who know what they're doing, instead of people who just claim to do so?

Best regards
