Story: 'IPod killer' set to strike Europe

Astounding everyone regurgitates Reuters' assertion that this is an iPod killer. It has absolutely none of the elements which made the iPod a success so on what basis is it promising to kill the iPod?

The market for portable video players has largely failed to materialise for the tiny DVD players, so why on earth does anyone believe that this device will suddenly change the mind of the consumer when, in real terms, it completely unproven features from a completely unproven technological and implementational foundation.
