Story: SCO takes on US government supercomputers
Well, since Microsoft has been exposed as SCO's 'sugar daddy', I truly doubt that SCO is going to get any more funding. Every single dollar invested into SCO will now probably be traced back all the way back to the US mint. Microsoft certainly isn't going to give them any more money.
I can't imagine what SCO is thinking here; Lawrence Livermore National Labs designs nuclear bombs. It's a MAJOR part of the US defense industry. There's no way that they're just going to pony up the dough to pay SCO.
For some bizarre reason, SCO has chosen to fight some of the most tenacious legal teams in the world. This is either a 'Don Quixote' style quest, or maybe SCO just wants to hurry up and get it all over with and be ran outta business.
NO, even with $50 million+ in the bank, SCO cannot possibly hold up financially for much longer.
