Story: Dell admits Indian mistake

I saved up to by my daughter a laptop as she is studying systems support at college. Anyway we were sent on laptop charged £498.47 for it on 24/10/05. Then on 26/10/05 we were sent another. I didn't think much of it i just told the courier to take it back. now my nightmare begins. I was charged another £498.48 from my bank account so I phoned dell and was told that this was no problem and I would get my money back in 7 days. 7 days passed Ii phoned and asked where my money was and I was told that there was no record of two laptops being sent to me and they would look into it and call me back before end of business. I took his name and ex no and did not hear from him at end of business so the next day I phoned mr salman's ex but kept getting his voice message. I left a message and asked him to call or e-mail me. still nothing so I
called "customer care" and they say there was still no record of two laptps being sent and miss Akhat would look intro it. this carried on everyday up to 18/11/05 calling and speaking and leaving messages to several people until finally they said thay have already sent my money back and I should get it in yes you guest it 7 days. it is now the 26/11/05 and I still haven't received my money. I phoned yesterday and mr salman answered the phone when asked how he never got back in touch he says his voice message box was not working and he can see how many times I have got in touch and he would personally find out what is going on and he would call me back before end of business. I said do you promise you will call me back today and he said yes he would. but I did not hear back from him yesterday and I am now at the end of my tether. This has caused me a considerable amount of stress as I do not make that much money and my pay was just going to pay off the over draft on my bank account that dell caused to go overdrawn in the first instance not to mention the charges that the bank has added on. I could not pay my bills or buy groceries. to get food for my children to eat I had to write cheques which I never had enough money in my bank to cover it so additional bank charges were added on. I am beginning to feel like I will never get this money back I mean in the world of technology how long dose it take
