Anyone else see parallels here - Longhorn and Blackcomb will be like Windows 95 and 98.

Windows 95 - much hyped up, everyone got very excited, but when it arrived it was rushed, underdeveloped and absolute pony.

Then Windows 98 was what 95 should have been. It was almost an acceptable OS.

Seems to me that, like 95, Longhorn's been hyped up like mad. Now that everyone's excited about it, they're rushing and cutting it down. But like 98, Blackcomb will be the one everyone's waiting for.

I'm not holding my breath.
