OK, no one wants a smart device that tells cops you've been speeding. What about GPRS enabled cars? That should discourage car theft on the grounds that anyone would instantly know the location of a stolen car.
Bad news for thieves. Great news for the likes of us, who'd invariably ask for premium reductions from our car insurers.
Would cops like it? Depends on whether they'd like to switch to solving crime...from giving speeding tickets.
