Story: IPspeak launches 'mass market' VoIP

Why are you guys in the UK afraid to hook up with the PSTn carriers so you can do what we are doing in the states, which is to offer "all you can eat" VOIP(meaning call anywhere in USA) for 30 bucks a month with no activation or installation fee?
For example, I can connect my router to a broadband connection in London,plug in any standard telephone(or connect any office system trunk), assign a 212 area code(NY city) and let you guys call anywhere in the states for nothing!!
