Story: Hutchison refutes rumours of 3G exit
In reply to the statement that the call centre is only open 9-5 and not at all at weekends; this is incorrect. The call centre is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
In respect to the call quality, I would advise having the handset checked for a fault as call quality should not differ (or not at least to the degree of CB quality) from any other UK network.
Coverage again should not be any worse than the O2 network in your area. This again points to a possible fault on the handset.
