Of course they're still around! Where do you think Microsoft and the other Wintel clone makers get all their splendid ideas from?
Face it: Whether popular or not, Apple is the innovator in the PC field. The first with a CDROM drive standard, the first to drop legacy ports in favor of USB. The first PC's to dispel the floppy disk; the first to move to the flat panel display. The list goes on and on.
We Mac users chuckle when hearing about "new" features in Windows that Mac users have had for years. Go ahead and be years behind in the technology field, we don't want you here anyway :)
