Can anyone tell me why broadband prices are so expensive - we pay £16.00 for 512k connection with 1Mb download per month and yet tariiffs in France will drop to €20 euros (£13) a month for access to 2 megabits per second, and to €18 euros for access to 1 megabit per second - BT and the Govt. boys take the piss when it comes to telecomms - why do we in britain always pay so much more over the top than the rest of the world for everything we touch from bread to cars to broadband
