I shudder to think what the consequences to the child would be knowing that their every step is potentially being monitored by their parents.

It is well documented that children given less responsability during child/teenage-hood are a lot less able to handle responsability during adult-hood.

Fancy, therefor, the impact on a child/teenager's development of not even being able to walk down a street without their parents being able to phone up and order them as to which side of the street they should be walking on.
