Story: Microsoft puts back SP2 automatic update

I've modified my GPO to disable AutoUpdate, I've turned off my Shavlik patch server, and I'm testing SP2 on my computer (I'm the IT guy).

Before this goes to my clients, I need a way to disable the firewall at the MSI or GPO levels.

It also messes with MSMessenter v4.7, although I've not figured out how yet. When you click on the link to access your Hotmail account, it brings up Outlook instead... Not funny!

I'm a one man show here, either they make my life easier with some thinking ahead on their part, or I begin the process of moving my clients to another OS.
