Story: Firefox 1.0PR: a first look

I've been using firebird since early 2004 and switched to firefox (midsummer abouts) once they had a version out that didn't crash my computer everytime I tried to google.
Just a few weeks ago I converted my boyfriend to firefox - and he really hates change, but this one caught on.
The reason I love the tabs is because I can categorise - branch the linked windows - if I'm reading news for example, I'll open one section in one window and then proceed to open articles in tabs from that section while opening other sections in other windows and opening articles in tabs there and so on and so forth.
I would never be able to do that with IE - not to mention that firefird and firefox, once installing the stable version atleast, has never crashed on me so far.
IE used to crash all the time.
Then the popup blocking - I've installed the new servicepack and had a browse with IE - it blocked windows I WANTED to pop up! I never have problems with popups in firefox at all.
So far, the people I've met that have been dead against firefox have been people who haven't even tried it.
Oh, and a trivial thing - I'm sure it could be fixed in IE too, but I for one am happy to get rid of those ridiculous colored scrollbars.
