looks very much like if Microsoft can not beat the copiers they will give the product away.

Only confirms that the bottom line is all important. Wee Billy must keep his pace as the worlds richest.

If MS dont cut the price then they will suffer at the hands of the copiers or much worse Linux.

if the price was right in the first instance there would be no need for unofficial copies.

What is your preference Office for £20 or the MS rip off price?

I bought Star Office 7 at an absolute snip. does everything I need

So if you upgrade to XP SP3 you can't uninstall Internet Explorer, I'm quite sure I'm having a Deja-vu feeling about MS preventing people from uninstalling Internet Explorer in other Windows products.
