My team built exactly this FIVE years ago. It was done inpartnership with Sun Microsystems.
The system was a first of it's kind supporting PC, iDTV, Gamesplatform, kiosk, mobile phone, PDA and other devices.
The system was demonstrated on Tommorows World in January 2000 !
