Trouble with most Australian government employees is they are always looking for a 'backhander' (bribe) to do anything. Otherwise they just come in, put their jacket over their chair, and go to their second job.

How about that line in the article stating one third of the Australian poplulation gets CentreLink payments (welfare). It is a good thing Australia has so many illegal immigrants so somebody can keep the economy going.
