Story: Microsoft warns governments of Linux lawsuit threat
Personally I think it's highly likely that the CIA, Al-Qaeda or some other agenecy is quite likely and capable of having members in the open source community, quietly making contiributions, but building in their own little backdoors to be activiated when the time is right.
Does Linux code get the same kind of attention from security analysts, hackers and "I told you so" freaks that Windows does...I don't think so. Where's the payoff. There are no bragging rights for hacking Linux.
