Story: Microsoft warns governments of Linux lawsuit threat
The problem that exists is that Microsoft hasnt' had any real competition besides Sun Microsystems and Apple. Now that a true threat (true in the sense that there is something that compete with them in all aspects of business) they don't know how to handle it and have decided to take the route of fear tactics and so called Indpendant Studies.
There has yet to be a response from SCO in regards to both Novell's and IBM's counter charges and SCO also has yet to bring proof of their "claims".
These warnings are truly baseless and show a fear of the inevitable
