Story: Microsoft warns governments of Linux lawsuit threat
20,000 desktop licences is a lot of money lost to microsoft, and Ballmer is scared. He sees the turn SCO has taken, and is content to let them wash down the drain--hoping that they aren't next in line for the big flush.
Considering the uptake of Linux worldwide, m$ has to do something, anything, to stop the hemorrage. Problem is, they never do ANYTHING ethical. What next...Guido and the blackjack? A little arm breaking?
This should be the clarion call for all governments to dump m$ like yesterday's garbage, and migrate over to a secure and open Operating System platform for all their computing needs.
Funny, Ballmer is all over the United States Media, claiming that he never said what he ACTUALLY DID SAY. Just like a dirty rug...lying until he's taken out back and given a good beating.
