I am well-aware that there are other Companies that want 'a share' of the Software Market, - Operating Systems in Particular.
I have used Linux; Unix & Windows-based Platforms.
For myself, - it was the 'simplicity' of the Windows system that made using a computer, - OWNING a Computer - a viable proposition for me.
I learned how to use Linux, etc After I had found-out 'what IT was about' on a Windows system
I was taught nothing about IT at school, - it didn't exist; but Gates's Company opened a door for me into a superb Business Tool, & a source of Entertainment that was completely New to me.

..... & I don't CARE how-rich Gates has gotten in the Process, - I have enough Money, - that's the thing that matters to me, - there are plenty of Rich 'Rip-Off Artists' to Condemn, - it's a Mistake to condemn W. Gates just because he's rich, - he has also brought a whole new area of interest into lots of people's lives.
