The sad truth is that, in a way, Windows has helped the Internet grow to what it is today. Making the maintenance of PC's so easy has led to many non-techie people having access to the Web. Any growth of the Web encourages growth of the Internet that it sits on.

However, since Microshaft's beginnings they have become more greedy, malevolent, and have spread throughout the IT industry like a plague. From PC's to Servers, Tablets, PDA's, Smartphones, Gaming Consoles, Home Entertainment Systems, Portable Video Players, and for the future, TV On Demand via the Internet. These people are hell-bent on world domination of all of IT. This, coming from a company that thinks that every person in the world should have to pay (them?) 1 pence per email, must not happen!
