Story: CRM rivals dismiss Microsoft's hosted efforts
Two thoughts:
1. Microsoft has been in the ASP/portal business with MSN for a long time -- when the time is right - Microsoft could introduce MicrosoftCRM.com and the game is OVER!!!
2. The infrastructure for MOST businesses, especially for the small to mid-size is Microsoft Windows even if they have Hosted Solution(s) -- Microsoft CRM on the latest Microsoft Small Business Server 2003 (excellent Small Business infrastructure) can be setup and running in less than a day and costs less than most two years subscription from rival CRM vendors.
CRM from Microsoft is an option available now, it will stay and continue to be around (Hosted or On-Premise)

PS. No, I won't be using Lotus 123 even if it is Hosted!!!
