At last! good decision and they won't regret. Linux is a powerfull system and can deliver more application speed than any other system at the moment.
If we have a look in the sharp handhelds (zaurus) you see that the have a big slice already in the big companies.
When joint palm source and linux I belive that not only developers will look forward to choose but other devices also well will adopt their system and Palm Source (system) are not attached to PalmOne (hardware) anymore.

Well done decision!

Put simply, what is the compelling reason to pay ~$200 extra for an Eee with Windows XP? A Windows Eee won't come with any useful applications and you'll have to buy anti-virus software to boot. The truth about low cost computing is that nobody really cares whether the machine is running Windows or Linux as long as its cheap, its easy to use and it works.
