Why waste £122m on all the technology when it could be put to better use by putting more police officers on the beat. The more officers and the higher the police presence then the less crime there is.
I live on a estate that is riddled with vandals, thieves, car thieves ... you name it then it happens. We've had more police cars and beat officers in the past month than most of the year but this past month there have been fewer break-ins and less crime all round.
I think that says it's own story, don't you!!

While full medical records may be of (dubious) value at rear/base medical facilities, these could be provided much simpler by either physical disk or electronic transfer to an "in theatre" database for individuals posted in. That £80m (and it's associated running costs) could have been far better employed in resuscitating a disbanded infantry battalion or providing a big boost in equipment quality and quantity.
