agree on the syncing issue, using a handspring, I found that the mozilla suite can sync, but thunderbird cannot, tho I am sure that is only a short term issue, perhaps related to the lack of a calendar. perhaps a piece of software designed to work ontop of the activesync, and bypass the need to have outlook installed at all?
