I work for an organisation with 7 branch offices 6 of which use BT Broadband. We experienced problems just after midday when our network monitoring software reported problems with our VPN. We lost connectivity between 4 of our offices 2 of which were still not back on-line by 18:45 14/1/05. Interestingly when we called BT were oblivious to the fault which appeared to be a routing/switching problem. We were given the classic run around i.e. not on BTs network and then finally oh that is BT openworld! It took rather a long time to make customers aware of the fault on there status pages and phone line.
