Well that is great, you are only one person though, you are in the minority. The majority would not switch so easily. The fact is that by Windows Vista that software is going to grow more and more and you won't be able to replace that as easily.

With KDE going to windows it really makes going to linux a moot point.

With Vista being so much more secure and stable as well as IE 7.0 and with Vista Ultimate running Unix Applications and also MONAD (Windows Shell) that is superior to that of Linux shells and finally linux software like KDE, GIMP, Apache already on Windows, what is the point of running Linux?

Linux becomes less special while Windows becomes stronger, more secure, adds more features and the software and hardware industry support windows better (Creative's X-FI chip and ATI) then what is the point?
