MCI/UUNet have for too long thumbed their noses at the internet community, not only by hosting Send-Safe, but by enriching themselves at the community's expense by ignoring complaints of abuse and harbouring any spammer who writes a cheque. Let's hope this is just the first step in isolating and ostracising this network.

What was achieved there is recognised to be of fundamental importance to both winning the war (Churchill visited to say 'thank you' to them) and the development of the computer. Maybe Bill Gates doesn't want to support this museum because it underlines where electronic computing started i.e. here, not the U.S.
